Travis Wayne Fields

Travis W. Fields age 39, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in Chilhowie, Va. 

Travis was born November 20, 1983 in Abingdon, Va. He was a 2001 graduate of Ervinton High School. Travis loved working outside, logging and cutting trees. He worked as a tree climber for different companies and decided to be his own boss, opening his business as Fields Tree Service. Family was everything to Travis, and he loved his own family more than anything. Travis will truly be missed by the family and friends who so dearly loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willard and Leapha Hammonds; paternal grandparents, Claude and Emma Duncan.

Travis is survived by his parents, Tommy and Jeannie Duncan of Lebanon, Va.; brother, Robert Fields of Lebanon, Va.; sisters, Laura Combs and husband Ray Combs of Lebanon, Va., Beth Kiser and husband Gary Kiser of Dante, Va.; nieces, Khloe Combs and Kenah Combs; special friends Jamie Smith, Glen and Candy Long. 

A Celebration of Life hosted by the family will be held at a later date and all are welcome.
