Vickie Hall

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA; VICKIE C. HALL, age 59, died Monday, October 19, 2009, at her home in Sugar Grove. She was born October 22, 1949 in Bristol, Virginia to the late James and Winnie Bell Jones Doss. Vickie was a great mother, sister, wife, friend and grandmother. She will be sadly missed. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a special aunt and uncle, Myrtle Marie Barker and Wade Edward Barker; a sister, Brenda Lee Sexton; and a grandson Justin Dwayne "Juddy" Sheffield. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Ray Hall of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one daughter, Melissa C. Haga and husband Tony; one son, Kenneth James Hall and wife Christy, all of Marion, Virginia; five sisters, Eloise Little and husband Doug, Ann Beavers and husband Charlie, Teresa Doss and husband Ronnie, Kathy Cody and husband Kim, Loretta Cato and husband Fred; four brothers, Bobby Doss; Billy Doss and wife Mary, Ronnie Doss and wife Jerri, all of Bristol, Virginia; and J.D. Doss and wife Alice of Bristol, Tennesse; three grandchildren, Christapher, Matthew and Austin Hall; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Donald Medley and Reverend Mark Davidson officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday October 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Slemp Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
