Virginia Dunford

MARION, VIRGINIA: VIRGINIA F. DUNFORD, age 89, widow of James Conley Dunford, died Sunday, January 20, 2008, at Francis Marion Manor. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Garland Fortner; two sisters, Alice Brooks and Clara Belle Morrison. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Ogburn of Roanoke, Virginia, and Judy Testerman of Marion, Virginia; two sons, Charles Gene Huff of Chilhowie, Virginia, and James Conley Dunford, Jr. of Annapolis, Maryland; one sister, Edith Stump of Marion, Virginia; one brother, Sam Fortner of Marion, Virginia; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday evening, January 23, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Teague officiating. Graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
