Virginia Norwood

MARION, VIRGINIA: VIRGINIA "JENNY" NORWOOD, age 72, died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Marion, Virginia. She was the widow of Thomas E. Norwood. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Steve Hastings of Marion, Virginia; one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Pam Norwood of Monticello, Mississippi; one sister, Anna Lampton of Pensacola, Florida; seven grandchildren, Jason Ready, Hunter and Boone Hastings, Misty Norwell and husband Jeremiah, Tony Norwood and wife Nikki, Chris and Jason Baker; and nine great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, Mississippi with Brother Jon Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Monticello Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
