Virginia Simpson

VIRGINIA D. "GINNY" SIMPSON, age 87, widow of Robert E. Simpson, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at her home in Marion, Virginia. Ginny was especially appreciative to her Bridge Club friends who so graciously welcomed her to Marion. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and James Esper of Woodbridge, Virginia and Nan and Everett Neese of Marion, Virginia; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Alvin and Betty Simpson and Annabelle Gronemann all of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Morgan and Matthew Neese; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Marion, Virginia with Rev. Jonathan Jonas officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, Virginia 24354 or to the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, 8336 Carrleigh Parkway, Springfield, Virginia 22152.
