SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: WALTER BIDDLE, age 79, went home to Heaven on September 18, 2013 in Riverside, California.
He was a loving father, honored veteran of the Korean War, and former missionary to Saipan in the Northern Marianna Islands where he started Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his first love, Dorothy Biddle of Wytheville, Virginia; four daughters, Elizabeth Workman and husband, Roger of Tinian, Cindy Sumner and husband, Greene of Ft. Myers, Florida, Debbie Long and husband, Tim of Garland, Texas and Chris Stone and husband, Don of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one son, Jim Biddle and wife, Christa of Tallahassee, Florida; two sisters; one brother, fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special cousin Babe Jones and wife, Patsy of North East, Maryland.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Sugar Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Gwinn officiating. Private burial will be held in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
