Willard Monroe Shupe

MARION, Va.: WILLARD “DOGG” MONROE SHUPE, age 40, died Friday, March 4, 2016. Mr. Shupe was a kind, free-spirited, friendly man who loved being around his family and friends. Willard was a big joker and enjoyed making people laugh. Most people will remember him as Dogg…as he could imitate a coon dog bark perfectly. He leaves behind two young boys who were his pride and joy. Dogg will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Dean and Glenda Sue Ellison Shupe. Willard is survived by his wife, Brandi V. Shupe; sons, Cedric Shupe and Larry Shupe, all of Marion, Va.; sister, Serena Coffey of Pulaski, Va.; and brother, Eric Shupe and wife, Lindsey of Marion, Va.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Dolly Vanhoy of Marion, Va. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating.
