William Blevins

MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIAM HOWARD BLEVINS, age 45, died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Smyth County Community Hospital. He was born September 3, 1959 in Smyth County, Virginia, to the late Luther and Gay Long Blevins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Teaster. Mr. Blevins is survived by one son, William Cody Blevins of Marion, Virginia. One sister, Phyllis Tibbs of Atkins, Virginia. Two brothers, Rev. Charles "Jody" Blevins and wife, Peggy of Damascus, Virginia, and David Blevins and wife, Barbara of Front Royal, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Steve Hutton officiating. A private burial will be held in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
