MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIE FRANCES OSBORNE HAYDEN, age 83, widow of Winifred Harland Hayden, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 30, 2012 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee.
She was born in Smyth County to the late William Curtis Osborne and Gracie Lee Johnson Osborne. She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church. She compiled two books that are in the Smyth-Bland Regional Library on the Osborne and Freeman Family ancestry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winifred Harlan Hayden; one son, David Michael Hayden; three sisters, Charlotte Elnore Osborne, Gracie Nell Bowman, Manzaneta Lee Holman Pafford.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Angie Hayden, of Marion, Virginia; one brother, Curtis Jack Osborne of Marion, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Mary Virginia Hayden Williams of Rural Retreat, Virginia; two granddaughters, one great-grandson; a very special cousin and friend, Nancy Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Mark Totten & Missionary Peter Ventresca officiating. At Mrs. Hayden's request, there will be no public visitation.
