MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIE WOLFE SCOTT, age 89, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Francis Marion Manor in Marion, Virginia where she was a resident. Mrs. Scott worked at Harwood Manufacturing for several years. Also, she was a caregiver for family and friends over the years. She was of the Methodist faith and attended the Centenary United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Noah Baldwin and Nannie Orilla Coulthard Wolfe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kyle Scott, a beloved son Randall Scott; a son-in-law, Blake Snider; a granddaughter, Rebecca Edmiston; two sisters, Edith Murray and Carolyn Stoots; one brother, James Wolfe. Mrs. Scott is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Betty Jo Hayes and husband, Don; and Carol Snider; One daughter-in-law, Wanda Scott, all of Marion, Virginia. Three granddaughters, Sandra Surber of Marion, Virginia; Angie Comer and husband, Tim; Julie Snider-Williams and husband, Roger, all of Atkins, Virginia. One grandson, Bryan Scott of Marion, Virginia. Two great- grandchildren, Krystal Surber; Trey Owens and wife, Sarah, all of Marion, Virginia. Four sisters, Ozena Anderson, and husband Sherwood of Marion, Virginia; Sue McClure and husband, Bill of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia; Nora Lee Comer and husband Wade of Chilhowie, Virginia; Nannie Hayden of Marion, Virginia. Two sisters-in-law, Mamie Scott of Marion, Virginia; Katherine Rector and husband, Billie of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia. Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Frank Bauman officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hutton Cemetery, c/o Carol Snider, 4520 Lee Highway, Marion, Virginia 24354. The Scott Family wishes to express thanks to Dr. Samuel Vernon and all of the caregivers of Francis Marion Manor for their loving care, compassion, and friendship over the past several years.
