WILLIS C. WIDENER, age 45, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee. Born December 5, 1961 to the late Harlow J. and Ruby Tilson Widener. Willis worked at Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Barnett's Funeral Home. He was the founder of Red Bird Taxi Service and was a long time member of the Marion Life Saving Crew. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joshua Widener and Jonathan and Kelly Widener all of Marion, Virginia; one sister, Debbie Clark of Groseclose, Virginia; three brothers, Jimmy Widener, Courtney Widener, and David Widener all of Marion, Virginia; one grandson, Calab; one granddaughter, Gracelin. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church, Atkins, Virginia with Rev. Mike Sage and Rev. Joe Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Gardens, Atkins, Virginia. The Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
