MARION, VIRGINIA: ZELLA (SISSIE) EASLEY, age 100, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Mercerville Center in Mercerville, New Jersey. Born to the late James and Mary Lyons Easley she was a member of the Marion Baptist Church and was a graduate of Athens, West Virginia High School. She moved to Princeton, West Virginia, to work at the Celanese Corporation in 1943 and retired in 1973 and moved to Marion, Virginia where she lived until 2001 when she moved to New Jersey to be with her family. In addition to her parents Ms. Easley was preceded in death by a sister, Estelle White, a brother-in-law, Fred White, and three brothers, Bernard M., James, and Billie Easley. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Evelyn Easley of Trenton, New Jersey; two nieces, Connie Papp and husband, Robert of Hamilton, New Jersey, and Linda Smith and husband, Charles of Fallsington, Pennsylvania; two nephews, Bernard Easley and wife, Philomena of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, and Kenneth Easley and wife, Mary Ann of Morrisville, Pennsylvania; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; four great-great-nieces and six great-great-nephews and one on the way, with whom she enjoyed spending time with. Several cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Mausoleum, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
