Zorada Katherine Moore

Marion, VA: Zorada Katherine Moore, 92, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Wythe County Community Hospital. She was born on May 23, 1924 to the late Harry Carter Moore, Sr. and Bessie Calhoun Moore. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her daughter, Katherine Schaefer; sister, Della Mae Grubb; brothers, Harry T. Moore, Jr., Raymond Moore, and Frank Moore; and brother-in-law, Cecil Grubb, Sr. Zorada is survived by her children, David Cregger of Marion, Va., Geraldine (Dump) Hendrick of Bluefield, W.Va., Kendra Roberts and husband, Joe of Tallahassee, Fla., Karla Jerills and husband, Erwin of Newport News, Va., Bartt Blankenship and Brett Blankenship both of Fla.; nine grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; one great-granddaughter on the way; special niece, Melissa Gross of Marion, Va; and special nephew, James Grubb of Marion, Va. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 12 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Atkins, Va. with the Reverend Mike Sage officiating.
